A brilliant souvenir DVD commemorating the centenary of the Balfour Declaration, which paved the way for the rebirth of the State of Israel.
November 2nd 2017 was the centenary of the Balfour declaration – a short letter to Lord Rothschild that gave British Governmental support to the hopes and dreams of the Jewish people to return to their ancient Land of Israel.
Arthur Balfour, Foreign Secretary at the time, was the signatory, giving his name to this famous document. Balfour, along with most of the war cabinet that devised the letter, was a Christian, whose political decisions were influenced by his faith; in this case, his belief in biblical prophecies of a restored Israel.
One hundred years later a group of Christian leaders, influenced by the same belief in the Bible’s promises. expressed their biblical support for the Jewish people and for the now-restored Israel by hosting an event at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Their vision was to show the Jewish people of the United Kingdom an enduring friendship from within the evangelical Christian community and to enable both communities to celebrate the centenary of the Balfour declaration together.
'Partners in this Great Enterprise' took place on November 7th, 2017 with around 3,500 people from the Jewish and Christian communities gathered to enjoy the programme recorded on this DVD.
Everyone in Britain today should understand the amazing part played by this nation in the purposes of God for his people Israel.
