Scripture did not ignore the mental consequences of sin. Jesus did not ignore the traps and obstacles our minds encounter as we battle in a fallen world. Scripture also never leaves us longing, it inspires, encourages, and draws out of us what we sometimes overlook. Why then, don't we ask Scripture what we can do to help us in our struggles? While not a replacement for therapy in any way, this study provides realistic habits and behaviours based on Scripture and biblical principles to sustain mental peace.
Rebekah Lyons took years to discover a set of realistic, daily soul-practices that aided her ongoing struggle with anxiety and panic and fear but also moved her past the struggle and into deeper relationships, opening herself to others, and embracing what it is to create from her soul. These practices have brought her freedom and helped her sustain that freedom while working through harder things with help.
Sharing these rhythms, Rebekah gives the women practical tools to contend for their own healing and sustained health and to forge a new road of wholehearted living. Rhythms of Renewal provides an approachable, household way of talking about sustained mental health found only in the peace given by Jesus Christ himself.
Rhythms of Renewal is a five-week video Bible study for those struggling with anxiety, fear, stress, depression, or other mental health issues. Participants will be equipped through a common experience with simple daily practices and tips that help them own a new sense of peace, strength, and purpose. The result of Rhythms of Renewal is being filled with a Christ-like peace while becoming a blessing to others.
